TheTeaParty.net: Expanding the Tea Party Movement on Several Fronts

I serve as Executive Director of TheTeaParty.net, an organization dedicated to harnessing the energy of Americans dissatisfied with the status quo, bringing America back to sanity and fiscal responsibility. TheTeaParty.net serves primarily as a recruiting arm of the Tea Party movement, unifying a movement that is by its nature diverse and grassroots in composition. Donations go first-and-foremost towards bringing new recruits into the fold through print, radio, television, and new media platforms. Expanding the movements has been one of our most significant accomplishments. Each week we attract thousands of adherents to the principles of liberty, responsibility, and limited government that the Tea Party movement represents.
TheTeaParty.net website also presents a significant asset to Tea Party organizers and organizations. Our online resources include updates on noteworthy news and events, information on starting one’s own Tea Party group, an Internet forum, and resources to learn more about various political candidates.
One of the central tenets of the Tea Party movement is direct action on behalf of the people. TheTeaParty.net speaks directly with key members of the federal government on issues our constituents are passionate about: free trade, fiscal responsibility, individual responsibility, and limiting the power of the federal government. Indeed, the organization retains a Washington D.C. representative who approaches Capitol Hill decision-makers on our behalf.
TheTeaParty.net sponsors and hosts numerous rallies and events each year, keeping our message and focus alive. One very effective past event involved The Rusty Humphries/Tea Party cross-country tour. Together with the conservative radio talk show host Rusty Humphries, TheTeaParty.net crisscrossed the nation by bus, engaging crowds and gaining new adherents to our fundamental principles. TheTeaParty.net is currently working to develop a series of town hall events with Presidential contenders for the upcoming national election. We are also a major sponsor of the annual Conservative Political Action Conference, which brings political activists together in Washington D.C. each year, engaging our conservative legislators there.
A final mission of TheTeaParty.net is growing the base of Tea Party conservatives by 40,000 - 50,000 each month. Through our combined efforts, we aim to prevent the U.S. from turning into a socialist nation crippled by unsustainable debt. TheTeaParty.net supports a conservative movement with a vision of a new America that cherishes individualism, freedom, and the entrepreneurial effort that helped our nation achieve greatness.
Todd Cefaratti began his studies at the University of California, Los Angeles, where he received an academic scholarship and belonged to the Sigma Chi Fraternity. Upon graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Todd Cefaratti matriculated at the University of California, Irvine, to complete a postgraduate degree in marketing. With his degrees in hand, Todd Cefaratti embarked on a long career in the financial industry, focusing his efforts on upper management and marketing. Over the course of 17 years, Todd Cefaratti served at many of the world’s leading companies, including CTX, Norwest, and Bank of America. In 2007, Todd Cefaratti accepted a position as the Chief Executive Officer of Glengary, Inc., a startup company specializing in reverse-mortgage leads and marketing consulting. Under the direction of Todd Cefaratti, Glengary, Inc. became one of the largest providers of reverse-mortgage leads in the United States in just a few short years. As a longtime businessman and executive, Todd Cefaratti advocates for free markets, limited government, and fiscal responsibility for individuals and organizations. To that end, Todd Cefaratti has become one of the most recognized voices and proponents of the Tea Party movement. As the Executive Director for one of the country’s largest Tea Party organizations, TheTeaParty.net, Todd Cefaratti’s remains responsible for driving recruitment. He accomplishes this task in manifold ways, including the organization’s high-tech website, which displays news updates, videos, cartoons, and a host of detailed information on Tea Party principles and upcoming events. In addition to the website, Todd Cefaratti and TheTeaParty.net organize nationwide bus tours, host promotional events, and sponsor major conservative engagements, such as the annual Conservative Political Action Conference.
